Late Tuesday night Survivor Z 3.0 went live on the Apple App Store, and since then thousands have made the switch to version 3.0, which adds several new features to the game, including Battle Maps, in game messaging, and clans. Survivors have already created thousands of new clans, and some have even elected to create their own custom clan logos. Survivor Z creator Ed Anderson says that “I have played Survivor Z more in the last few days than I have in the last year, it’s so much fun fighting against the other players. this will add a whole new dimension to gameplay, and strengthen user retention and engagement, it certainly has for me!”
Players can download the latest version for free, and will not be able to take advantage of the new features until they do. Unfortunately, iOS 8.0 and higher is required for the update, so older devices may not be supported.
